Synopsis
Set in a summer of the late 1980s, 13-year-old Felice (Tiziano Menichelli), bearing the weight of his father’s expectations, has finally reached the national tennis tournaments after years of rigorous training and strict rules. In preparation, his father enlists the help of self-styled former champion Raul Gatti (Pierfrancesco Favino). The two set out from Rome, travelling from match to match, on a journey across the Italian coast, that leads them to gain an understanding of themselves, and creates an unexpected and profound bond between the two.
