Synopsis
Twin brothers Jacek and Placek are the troublemakers of their village. They despise work, and so hatch a plan to steal the moon, which they believe to be made of gold, and then sell it, so that they'll never have to work. To this end, they go on an adventure seeking out the place where the moon sleeps in order to catch it as it sets.
The film is based on the 1928 novel of the same name by Polish writer Kornel Makuszyński.
